Alliance for Children’s Therapeutics (ACT)

ACT’s purpose is to advance and speed the development of pediatric therapies. ACT brings together a top 5 U.S. pediatric hospital and research institution with a nationally recognized biotechnology company to combine forces and expertise to meet the specific challenges of pediatric therapy development. ACT will initially work with KPI's most advanced clinical drug candidate for autoimmunity and attempt to advance treatments for children’s autoimmune diseases. Ultimately, ACT intends to address a broader set of pediatric illnesses. As part of ACT and in support of its mission, KPI, the Foundation, and SCRI will jointly pursue funding opportunities and then develop drug candidates to meet the needs of its pediatric patient populations. Chimera Biotec
